J.S. Bach and Georgian Polyphony
New York Lincoln Center hosted annual Mostly Mozart Festival. Out of the program, two concerts were held under the name of "Bach and Polyphonies", where, for the first time in the history of Georgian traditional music, Ensemble "Basiani" performed Georgian Traditional Polyphony, along with masterpieces of Bach and other famous choir composers of the world. The above event was widely covered by the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.
